Every year, March offers up a beautiful excuse to slip into green spandex, pull out a shamrock headband and don as many magical green beads as possible. That’s right– March means it’s time to stretch the old legs in a St. Patty’s day race!
If you thought you were alone in getting excited for shamrocks, shenanigans and shuffling through a 10K, think again. According to Running in the USA’s website, there are 494 St. Patricks’s Day-themed races this March. Over the St. Patrick’s day weekend, Competitive Timing will be timing four races and over 6,000 participants who plan to run in events across Montana.
