2014 is off to a big start for Competitive Timing. We are expanding our footprint to time several major events across Montana. Competitive Timing is slated to time several races on the eastern side of the divide this year including:
• Montana Women’s Run, Billings, MT
• Montana Marathon, Billings, MT
• Peaks to Prairie, Red Lodge, MT
• Run to the Pub, Bozeman, MT
With our expansion of services, we have hired two full-time employees to lead events. Travis Hutchinson will be based out of Billings and Jenni Graff will work to serve the Missoula and Western Montana area.
Coupled with our expanding footprint, Competitive Timing has also acquired new Chronotrack timing equipment that will allow us to expand our services and time up to four events at a time. We are excited to offer Chronotrack timing services, as it offers greater capacity for road biking and mountain biking events.
In addition to our new equipment, we are working to improve our results kiosks at the finish line. Now, athletes will be able to use iPads and tablets to print and view race results immediately after each competition.
We are also hard at work to beef up our services offered to Race Directors. Now, Competitive Timing will provide marketing services to Race Directors to help promote and increase race participation. We have compiled an extensive database of resources and websites to promote events and we will offer e-mail and newsletters to Competitive Timing’s ever-expanding e-newsletter list.
While race season is getting busy, we still have plenty of capacity to time and assist with your upcoming events. Please feel free to contact us about any race inquiries.
